The project consists of the development of a UX/UI case study of a tea brand's app.
How would be the ideal application for a tea lover?
Tea Soul App focuses on the needs of regular shoppers and tea lovers and offers users an intuitive application to meet their needs: easily shop for tea, infusions and teaware, discover new products and enjoy personal recommendations based on the user's interests.
The app features a "Brew" section, which allows the user to save their favorite teas and easily check how to brew them the perfect way. It allows the user to find their favorite teas by filtering them by type and function, and provides statistics based on user consumption.
To the development of Tea Soul App, I followed the Design Thinking Methodology: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test. As part of any project, research is essential, so I started collecting information and analyzing the competition, like "Tea Forte" and "Tea Shop".
Tea Soul App's visual identity is based on the concepts of nature, calm and warmth. The predominance of green seeks to reinforce the idea of natural products and the soft palette is intended to evoke an atmosphere of calmness.
In addition, the use of the circle is an attempt to abstractly represent various things related to the tea ritual, such as the idea of a cup, two hands holding a cup, the organic shapes of a tea plantation and the shape of tea leaves.
The application is colour-coded to differentiate the types of teas and infusions, making it easy for users to recognize and identify each type and its unique properties and functions. Colour coding is applied to the purchase and brew sections.
